Getting married is the best thing that can happen to two people in their lives. Everybody wishes that the wedding ceremony would last in their memories forever. The first step in this process is selecting the Wedding Invitation. As it is the first step, why not start off in a very stylish and a unique way that even reflects your dreams and theme behind the wedding.
Arrangement of the invitation card for the wedding ceremony is a significant responsibility. These days, social events are also being celebrated with a central theme in mind, which gives the entire occasion a smart and jazzy flavor.
For coming up with a unique design for your invitation, the best thing you can do is to put down your tastes into it. The wedding ceremony is all about you and your love, so just step out of the box and come up with some innovative ideas. For example if both of you like music, you can design the borders of the invitation with some music instruments such as a guitar. Another idea can be to even reflect your hobbies into design of your invitation.

Picture frames are a very practical but nice wedding gift. The new couple will have a ton of photos that they will want frames for. If you are picking up multiple frames make sure you stick to a theme. Don’t just buy a bunch of different ones with different colors. Get ones that match one another just in different sizes.
Some people like to give newlyweds a quilt or blanket that has something special embroidered on it. You could have a favorite bible verse or saying put on it as well. You see lots of these at peoples homes. They are both charming and very personal.
Another classy gift that the couple will keep their entire lives is a set of silver dinnerware. Those types of gifts will end up becoming family heirlooms.
Sometimes newlyweds will move into a new home right away. If this is the case, you could look for a present that they could use in their new place. This is the perfect time to give a more practical gift like a kitchen appliance.

Wedding invitations come in many different colors, and can be made in any style that the bride and groom (but mainly the bride) wants. Purple is a favorite color because it not only signifies royalty, but also comes in enough pleasing shades that it can be used as a primary color with its many variations. Purple wedding invitations can be the ideal accent of a fairy tale day.
The first thing that any potential bride should do is search the wide array of invitations that are available from the many purveyors of matrimonial goods. This means that you can go to all of the traditional stores that sell invitations and all the trappings for that special day, but you should also look online, as you will find a much larger selection than you would normally at a “brick and mortar” retailer. Basically all you need to do is select the color that you want and then search the web. A search for “purple wedding invitations” will lead you to more sites than you will know what to do with, but these sites will give you a lot of ideas that you can then look for at the stores.

Penny pinching for a wedding might not be what you had in mind, but times are hard and that does not mean that you cannot still enjoy your day. If you are planning an inexpensive wedding, here are a few tips that will give you the inside scoop on planning a wedding under a budget.
First off let’s take a look at the location of your wedding and where you can have a great it without breaking the bank. You might want to look at having the wedding at your local search or even in the backyard of a close friend. You should not have to pay a huge amount of money in order to house your wedding. All it takes is some simple brainstorming and you will do just fine.
Now when it comes to your wedding gown, you may want to look at discount bridal stores that will allow you to get what you need when you are on a budget. Do not think that the gowns that you will find for a discount price will be anything less than what you had in mind. You may be surprised at what you can actually find for such a low price!

Wedding is a womans most special day, and a wedding dress is supposed to be her most exquisite wear. A woman is offered five basic choices in selecting this dream attire. Of these, the first three, Empire, Princess, and Ball Gown are loose patterns that flow down, while the other two, Mermaid, and Column, are more body hugging.
In the Empire style, the waistline starts from where the bust ends. The skirt flares forth from that point flowing over the body in a wavy style, covering the body in a beguiling way. The imperfections of the body are attractively covered in this pattern. Based upon the bust size, the bust can be made less or more prominent as required, by designing the neck and sleeves to bring out the desired effect.
The Princess style, known also as A-line, has a tight top but does not have a marked waistline. The top slowly widens in both directions to flow down and make the letter A. The pattern has a constricting and lengthening effect, giving the wearer the effect of a good height. The way the fabric flows, it can enhance the curves of a slimmer body, while its flares can cover up the unwelcome thicknesses of a not-so-perfect figure.

That special day in a woman’s life may come sooner or later, but it’s eventually coming; if you’re the one dealing with putting the pieces of the puzzle altogether, you’re facing a real challenge unless you’re not organized enough to deal with it. However, with proper management and info, you should be able to figure everything out and throw the best party ever. Some things never change, but bridal showers aren’t between those, because apparently they’ve evolved from the “girls night” party style into some sort of a family and friends reunion attended by the closest people around the bride and groom. No matter what the approach to this party is, there are certain things you need to take care of when planning it.
The first thing you want to do is make up your mind if you want to go for a themed party. If that’s your take(and it’s a good choice), then you have to plan everything out according to the chosen theme - invitations, costumes, decorations, menu and so on. To name just a few ideas, there could be a spa party, a pool party, a Halloween one, or any other - but whatever it is, make a quick decision about it, since you’re supposed to send out invitations six weeks before the actual party.

As you can probably imagine, I LOVE a good party. To me, being with good friends for any reason is enough reason to have a party.
Dinner parties are my favourite. I break out my wedding china and crystal and my husband cooks up something delicious for our guests (yes, HE cooks!)
So I’m always amazed when brides tell me they won’t be registering for fancy china or delicate crystal.
Good china? We dont need it. We already have it!
You might already have plates, silverware, and glasses. They might be great to use at your dinner table, when its just the two of you. But mismatched dinnerware will not impress your guests. You need good china for fancy dinners.
Sorry, but I have to say this. Fancy and good china for that dinner you will be organizing in the future as a couple is very essential. You dont want your husbands family to leave your home and complain about the dinnerware you used to serve them, do you?
So kick it up a notch!
What Will You Need?

Your dream finally came true…along came Mr. Right and now you are engaged! Not only are your girlfriends excited about your engagement, but also they are happy to be a part of our wedding day. Being invited to serve as a bridesmaid is both flattering and rewarding. It is flattering in the fact that the bride considers her bridesmaids to be her closest friends. It is rewarding in that the bride shares special bridesmaids gifts to show her appreciation. Knowing that you are appreciated is very gratifying.
The unique quality in friendship is that friends help each other out of love. True friends do not expect anything in return when they perform a kind gesture for the other. If friends are supposed to help friends, why should the bride feel obligated to give bridesmaids gifts to her attendants? The answer to this question is simple. Bridesmaids are given several tasks to help minimize the bride’s stress. In doing so, the bride is very appreciative. It is not an obligation for the bride to show her appreciation it is her choice.
Being a bridesmaid is not easy. Not only is it time consuming, but it is also a financial burden. Giving her attendants a bridesmaids gift is a small price for the bride to pay in comparison to the hard work performed by bridesmaids. Friends should never take each other for granted. Whenever someone does a kind gesture for another, there is always room to show a little appreciation. Whether you voice it, write it down, or purchase a gift, saying “thank you” is always appropriate.
On average, couples spend approximately 2% of their wedding budget on attendants’ gifts. Ironically, the attendants perform more than 50% of the work that is invested in planning the wedding. This is why friends are such wonderful people. They are willing to invest more than they will get back. Brides are fully aware of the fact that a $25.00 bridesmaids gift cannot compare to the tremendous amount of time and money spent by her bridesmaids. However, the sentiment behind the gift is priceless. Gifts are simply an expression of the appreciation that a giver has for the recipient.
Because bridesmaids do such a wonderful job to assist the bride, it is often difficult to decide what to give them. One thing to keep in mind is that true friends are not difficult to please. The best bridesmaids gifts are those that are affordable, unique, and practical. A popular choice among brides is bridal jewelry. The wonderful quality that bridal jewelry has is that it has a multipurpose. Not only can it be worn on the wedding day, but it can be worn for other occasions as well. Bridesmaids are special people who deserve special gifts.
